We'll all float on.
i just need a break.
Two weeks before graduation,

& NOW they tell me that I am valedictorian, and I have to speak at graduation.

uh, I mean no pressure or anything..

need ideas, FAST.

I'm feeling much better! There were 3 really bad days, I got these really bad earaches (constant shooting pain). It still hurts a little to swallow liquids, and my voice is still raspy/somewhat sore. It also hurts to yawn and sneeze, I think this is the most annoying, especially yawning my jaw locks up. My scabs are still falling off, but it looks way better than it did a couple days ago. I'm glad you're feeling much better and thanks for asking how I was feeling!

Ohh yeah, I remember all of that! It sounds like you’re almost done recovering! Yawning is pure torture, especially because you can’t get it out so the yawn keeps coming back! It’s awful! Glad you’re getting better (:

It was yesterday morning, I was able to eat some cold soup. Of course it hurt a lot to swallow. The pain medication isn't really removing much pain, just making it somewhat manageable. I was so drowsy yesterday. And today I just feel shitty haha, but slowly I'll get better. How are you feeling?

I’m almost completely back to normal. It’s been almost a month since my surgery, and two weeks since my second surgery. I still can’t yawn or drink really fruity juice or anything. How are you feeling now? Do you take your medicine every four hours? I reaaaaallly hope you’re doing okay. I know it’s rough, but you’ll feel so much better after you’re healed.

Some things in this world, They don’t make sense. Some things you don’t need until they leave you. They’re the things that you miss.
I've been doing a little better. I hope you're healing well too!

GOOOOOD! I’m glad to hear that. :)

So I hope you're feeling better since your emergency surgery! I had my pre-op and the RN I spoke to told me that I can actually start to eat solid food/normal food the day after surgery. Just wanted to check in and see when did you start eating "normal" food?

You probably can eat normal food after surgery, but in all honesty, you won’t want to. Your throat will basically be raw, and anything other than ice is going to feel like hell! At least that’s how it was with me. I still haven’t really got back to eating “normal” food. I stay toward softer foods just because my throat is still very sore. I ate some chicken nuggets but I had to chew them up SO much first. lol. I guess it just depends on the person though. When is your surgery?

Yeah, it was horrible! I was vomiting huge blood clots all the way to the hospital. I thought bleeding after surgery was supposed to be pretty rare!

I thought so too! That’s why it’s so weird that it happened to both of us! I had clots stuck in the back of my throat, nastiest feeling EVER. Are you doing better now?

So sorry to hear about your emergency surgery! I had to have one too and it was terrifying. Hope you're doing better now!

YOU HAD TO HAVE ONE TOO!? Wait, I’m sorry I had no idea. What happened with yours? I know how bad that sucks!

Day 12: Emergency Surgery on my Throat!

I’ll go in detail later. I mentioned in my last post that my throat was bleeding some, but it did it again this morning. Times 10! I scheduled an appointment with my doctor to see what was going on and they had to rush me into another surgery because it was bleeding so bad and there wasn’t any sign of where it was coming from! I’m home now and doing okay. This is NOT fun.
